CLE Sports PT & Performance is not a “typical” Physical Therapy clinic.    Our mission is to tailor your sports rehab or training to your goals and your needs.  To accomplish this, the focus must be on you-  without distractions-  for the entire 60 minute session.  As a result, you get better faster and schedule visits only when you need them.

“Typical” PT clinics that contract with insurance must take more than one patient per hour to turn a profit.  This decreases the amount of personal attention your PT can give, resulting in more visits- and more time away from your sport.

Insurance companies also restrict Physical Therapy visits at in-network providers.  Imagine the frustration of being cut off from PT after ACL surgery because an insurance company thinks being able to walk is “good enough.”  Insurance does not see the value of running or getting back on the soccer field-  but CLE Sports PT & Performance does.  By seeing an out-of-network provider, you can receive sport-specific or activity-specific care until you are fully recovered.

Depending on your insurance plan, you still may receive some reimbursement from your insurance plan-  CLE Sports PT will give you all necessary documentation to self-submit for this.


As mentioned above, you may receive reimbursement from your insurance company for a visit to CLE Sports PT & Performance.  If you are reimbursed for all but your co-pay and get better in fewer visits, you will spend less money than an in-network clinic.

Consider these scenarios below for a soccer player with a knee injury (MCL Sprain).  Each PT visit costs $100

The time cost is less and the out of pocket cost is the same.  Now, imagine the soccer player needs a second month of PT.  At CLE Sports PT & Performance, the athlete typically only needs 1-2 visits in that second month to get back on the field
